Instructor and Trainer

Amy Kelly is our head trainer and lesson instructor here at DOK Stables. She started with Dannette in the summer of 2009 at the early age of 12.  She has since matured in her horsemanship skills to become one of the best barrel racers in the state of Florida.

Amy is a four-time National Barrel Horse Association Youth World Championship qualifier, placing in the Youth World Championship Finals in 2015.  She is a two-time National Barrel Horse Association Youth District Champion, a National Barrel Horse Association FL District 08 5D Champion, along with holding many previous titles and end of the year high-points at the Union County Riding Club, including the title as UCRC’s Queen in 2014.  She was also crowned queen at the 2014 Miss Florida Gateway Pro Rodeo.

Along with conditioning and training our performance horses, Amy has a true talent with the kids. Being only 21 years old, she is professional and knows how to help the kids achieve their true potential.  Children will fall in love with the sport of horseback riding with Amy as their instructor.

When Amy is not at DOK working with horses and children she is working full-time as a waitress, going to college, and spending time with her friends.

Amy is available for private lessons on the weekends.
